How it will work

Four steps, nothing extra

This is how the exchange will work after launch. An order, mandatory AML verification, payout — no extra steps, but everyone goes through the check.

01

Calculate the amount

Pick a direction and an amount in the calculator. For online orders the rate stays fixed until the order expires; terms for cash exchange will be set before launch.

02

Place an order

Wallet or bank details, and how you want to receive — office or transfer. One page, not a ten-screen questionnaire.

03

Pass verification

Basic AML screening and identity confirmation as required by the license. For standard amounts it is quick.

04

Get your money

Cash in the office or a transfer to your account. Order status is visible in your account and in Telegram.

License and rules

Why we wait for the license instead of working “for now”

Since 1 July 2023, virtual asset service providers in Georgia must be registered with the National Bank of Georgia and operate under its supervision. An exchange without VASP status is a risk for the client: frozen funds, no obligations and no protection in a disputed transaction.

We are taking the long route: a company registered in Georgia, internal AML procedures, source-of-funds audit, VASP license. Until that status is granted, Keyra shows no rates, accepts no orders and handles no client money. That is a deliberate decision, not a pause in development.

The site is open early so you can get to know the service, ask questions and subscribe to the launch. All documents and exchange rules will be published right here — before the first deal.

FAQ

The essentials, briefly

No answer here — message us on Telegram, we reply personally.

When do you open?

As soon as we receive the VASP license in Georgia. We do not name a date so we never have to move it: subscribe and we will write the same day.

Why is there no rate yet?

Showing a rate without the right to exchange is advertising a service that does not exist yet. The calculator goes live together with orders.

Where will you operate?

At start — Tbilisi and online: cash in the office or a transfer to your account. New cities follow demand, and no city will ever be part of the service name.

Which directions will be available?

USDT, Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRX both ways with lari, dollars and euros — cash and transfer. Coins and networks are added on demand.

Is verification required?

Yes. Basic AML screening and identity confirmation are mandatory for a licensed exchange. For standard amounts it takes minutes.

Can a company exchange?

Yes, a separate flow for legal entities: transfer to a corporate account, deal documents, payment purpose. Terms will be published at launch.

Exchanging crypto in Georgia — what matters

Cash or transfer

Some people need lari in hand right away, others need a transfer to a Georgian bank account with a clear payment purpose. Keyra will work both ways: office payout and bank transfer.

The network matters more than the coin

The same USDT on TRC-20, ERC-20 and TON means different addresses and different fees. A wrong network means lost funds, so the network is always chosen explicitly and highlighted before you confirm.

AML is not about distrust

Checking the source of funds is a requirement for a licensed exchange, not a complaint about the client. The cleaner the coin history, the faster the payout — usually minutes, not days.
